This is only going to be brief as I just sat down on the Top Deck bus.
We arrived in London yesterday afternoon after a quick explore of Oxford. Ten minutes in our accommodation was too much (very very hot) so we headed out to find Westminster. We had gone into the accommodation with brilliant blue skies…came out raining, typically our jackets were in or room. We safely navigated our way back to St Pancreas Station and found a tube to Westminster. We arrived just in time to line up for the evensong service – I’ve never had my bags checked for church before. Sadly the choir was in recess but the New London singers were very good.
After the service we rushed off to find Piccadilly Circus so we could get to the Royal Albert Hall for our proms concert. We had some rather swanky box seats in the grand tier. The BBC philharmonic was playing which was a great experience to listen to, but I think Mystery DIY Man is now all cultured out.
